False Theories
Sir.—On page 63 of Moore and Another’s translation of Karl Marx’s work,
“Capital.” as edited by Angelo, there will be found this statement:—“The objects, gold and silver, just ns they come out of the bowels of the earth are forthwith the direct incarnation of all human labour. Hence the magic* of money.”
One may search thq pages of history and fail to discover any more damnable falsehood th.-vi is contained in those words. Literally, for thousands and thousands of years this barbaric idea has prevailed, and has blocked the mental pathway of truth to truth.
Marx's philosophy is the very antithesis of Christianity—one cannot be a Marxian and a Christian at one and the same time. By his false philosophy, he has poisoned mind against mind and has set two great factors in human relationships into violent opposition to one another, "Proletariat” versus “Bourgeoisie” and vice versa, in a deadly conflict which existed only in the diseased mind of an agent provocateur—an instigator of disorder and chaos.
Keep these two busy fighting one another, said he, and we can perfect our plans for the enslavement of Christian humanity to the will of the barbarians. As Doctor Dolfuss said, the two great enemies to the world’s peace are Capitalism and Marxism, both based upon the same living lie Abolish these two deadly enemies of Christianity, and the world will realise God and Peace, Justice and Equity. The day of deliverance is near us already.— I am., etc..
