DROWNED IN SURF
Fatality at Dunedin By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, January 30. A young man mimed Andrew Campbell Baker, employed by P. Hayman and Co., was drowned while swimming in the surf at St. Clair this evening. He was brought ashore by two members of the St. Clair Life Saving Club, and artificial restoration was applied, but without result.- He was 25 years of age and resided at Kaikorai.
