Windsor’s Melbourne Win INCIDENT IN DOUBLES (Received January 30, 12.45 a.m.) Melbourne, January 29. The international open croquet championships concluded to-day, when J. C. Windsor (Australia) won rhe open singles from Poulter (England), and Mrs. Terry and Windsor won the doubles from Miller and Hunt (Australia). The first test, England v. Australia and New Zealand, begins on Friday. A sensation was caused in the doubles when Windsor called “foul” after a shot by Hunt, and, after consulting his partner, walked off the green. Windsor, seeing Hunt thought he had played a clean stroke, forfeited his" next stroke, but Miller instructed Hunt not to continue the break and to retire to the first corner. The opponents did not call the referee, and. the game was resumed, but Hunt was little interested in the subsequent play
