4 Worth Over Million Dollars THEFT IN NEW YORK BANK (Received January 29, 7 p.m.) New York, January 28. Daring thieves stole 1,450,000 dollars worth of negotiable securities, including Government bonds, from a messenger in a Wall Street bank to-day. This is the second such large theft in recent months. The messenger said he placed the parcel on a shelf near the cashier’s window. After turning away for a moment he found them gone. .
