A Utica message states that, with three more deaths to-day, a total of 16 persons have lost their lives over the week-end from drinking a poison liqour containing wood alcohol, a beverage which was sold at various nan-licensed premises. It appears to have been obtained from a single source—a group of oootleggers. for whom the police are seeking. The situation has become so serious that tlie authorities have been compelled to issue a public warning. Three more persons are in a dynig condition in hospital, and it is feared many more have been poisoned.
