INSURANCE SCHEME
Canadian Unemployed Toronto, January 28. The Toronto “Mail and Empire” (Conservative) states that tlie Ottawa Cabinet has approved an Unemployment Insurance Bill to be submitted to the House of Commons in a few days. It provides for the payment of six dollars weekly for each unemployed person. The worker's weekly contribution is 30 cents, and the employer's the same amount. Fifty million dollars are to be provided to launch the gcheme.
