Vessel Sails Without Them By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, January 29. The vessel was timed to sail at six o'clock, but at this hour two or three men were missing. The captain decided to give them half an hour’s grace, but at 6.30 there was still one man absent. The captain intimated his intention of sailing, but the tiremen walked off the ship in their working clothes An hour later the men still refused to sail, and the vessel put to sea, leaving the firemen behind. The men were eventually taken in at the Sailors’ Rest, and it is understood they will be sent to rejoin tho vessel at Lyttelton,
