Youth Peace Crusade

Sir, —Apropos of Dr. Demarquettc’s brilliant lecture, it is indeed pleasing to read in your columns the public appreciation by Mr. Barnao of the work being done by the Youth Peace Crusade. We wish to thank him and also those others who have expressed personally their gratitude for our efforts in making available to the Wellington public such a learned discourse on the affairs and problems of mankind. Our apologies are tendered to the many who could not bo accommodated in the lecture hall, but owing to the lateness of their arrival and tlie fact that Dr. Demnrquette had already been speaking for some time, wo did not feel justified in moving the meeting “eii bloc” to. an even larger hall. However, we trust to see them again at our next lecture. —I am. etc.. TRACEY M. SIMPSON, Chairman. Youth Peace Crusade. Wellington, January 20.
