Metcalfe (Australia). 6ft. 4.1 in 1 Perasalo (Finland), Oft. 3}in 2 Place (Australia) was third and Crowe (New Zealand) fourth. -100 Metres. Frances (Australia) 1 Rampling (Jlritain) 2 Broadway (New Zealand) 3 Won by 11 yards, with a yard between second and third. Time, 49}— an Australian record. 110 Metres Hurdles. McLardy (Australia) 1 Stennor (Australia) 2 Jenkins (Australia) 3 Sharpley (New Zealand) 4 Won by two yards, with a yard between second and third. Time, 14 4-5, an Australian record. 3000 Metres. Matthews (New Zealand) 1 Colman (Australia) 2 Craske (Britain) 3 Barwick (Australia) 4 McLachlan Zealand) 5 Won by 15 yards, with 10 yards between second and third. Time, 5.42 7-10. This was a new race for Australia. In the first round Craske held the lead, but in the second round the New Zealanders took charge, Matthews leading from McLachlan and Craske. Colman moved up towards the finish. Colman is tlie Australian one-inile and threemile champion Javelin Throw. Sippala, 217 ft., an Australian record .1 Shields (Australia), 163 ft. 3|ln. .. 2 Perasalo, 159 ft. 9Jin 3 800 Metres. Backhouse (Australia) 1 Irwin (Australia) 2 Burns (Australia) 3 Broadway (New Zealand) ........ 4 Won by 1J yards, 8 yards between second and third. Time, 1.55 9-10. Hop, Step and Jump. Metcalfe (Australia)’, 50ft. 4 7-Bin. 1 Dickinson (Australia), 50ft 2 Teague (Australia), 47ft 3 Crowe (New Zealand) was sixth. Mile Walk.
