MAKING BETTER ROADS
Five-year Plan For Britain London, January 27. Mr. L. llore Belisha, Minister of Transport, announced that the Government had decided upon a five-year plan to improve roads, rebuild weak bridges, provide dual carriage-ways, footpaths and cycling tracks, remove blind corners, circumvent dangers at cross roads, and reduce camber. The Government will use the road fund to assist in the expenditure.
