TANKER TAKEN IN TOW
Disabled Vessel Valverda (Brittsn Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 26. H.M.S. Frobisher, which, with 11.M.5. Guardian, Ims been standing by the British tanker Valverda, which was disabled by fire in the Atlantic, has now taken her in tow and is proceeding to Bermuda. Earlier attempts to do so had been frustrated by heavy weather. The Frobisher reports that the Valverda is not very manageable as her rudder is out of action, but it is hoi>ed to repair this to-day. H.M.S. Guardian is proceeding to St. Lucia.
