“ON WITH THE SHOW”

Au enthusiastic reception was given last night to the Frank Neil Variety Company at the Grand Opera House when they again presented their modern revue “On With the Show.” The comedy of Joey Porter, Alec Halls and Hope and Ray, the melodious harmonies and solos of Grace Hartington, Russell Callow, Ted Simpson, and the chorus and well-trained ballet, all went to make up a thoroughly fresh and entertaining programme. The highlights were provided by Messrs. Nice and Florio and Miss Lubow in an eccentric dancing turn, while “Les Diamondes” gave a fine display of living statuary and dancing. The orchestra, under the baton of Harry Lazarus, a combination of unusually high standard for a variety ' production, completed ' the programme.
