STEP NEARER REUNION OF CHURCHES
Canterbury Convocations PRINCIPLE OF EPISCOPACY MADE EASIER London, January 25. The Convocations of Canterbury and York are engaged in discussing the reunion of churches. The Lower House of Canterbury took an important step toward reunion by deciding unanimously to accept the report of the joint conference between the representatives of the Church of England and the Free Churches. The report contemplates a revised Constitution for the Church of England, which will render easy the acceptance of the principle of Episcopacy for members of the Free Churches.
