Man Shoots Young Girl SUICIDE FOLLOWS DEED (Received January 27. 6.30 p.m.) Sydney, January 27. Disappointed in his love for Joyce Eggins, aged 16, the niece of a man for whom lie recently worked, David Geddes Taylor, aged 28. entered the girl’s room at a farm near Kempsey and fired a bullet into her temple. He then set. fire to her bed, and. retreating to the veranda, shot himself dead. The girl died two hours later in hospital.
