WOMAN’S BODY FOUND

Early Morning Discovery at Oriental Bay The body of an unindentified woman was found on Oriental Bay tieach at about 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning. The tide was coming in, and the body appeared to have been in the water for a few hours only. Deceased was elderly, probably about 60 years of age, of frail build, and five feet in height. Her hair was dark, going grey, and she had grey eyes There were no teeth. The first finger on her right hand was missing, and she wore a wedding ring.
