Gathering at Hamilton By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, January 25. The joint annual conference of the New Zealand section of the Institute of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland and the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry concluded to-day after a session of two days. Visits were paid to farms and factories. Presidential addresses were delivered by Mr. G. A. Lawrence, Wellington, and Professor H. G. Denham, Dunedin. Mr. Lawrence delivered an able paper on the history and possibilities of the frozen meat trade. Professor Denham spoke on the work of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research,
