SEARCH FOR MARKETS

Mr. Masters’s Work Praised Appreciation of the work done by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Hon. R. Masters, in endeavouring to extend New Zealand’s markets for primary produce, especially in the East, was expressed at a meeting of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce this week. This was placed on record in a resolution as follows:— - ‘•That this chamber has watched wPh great interest the efforts of the Hon R Masters, Minister of Industries and Commerce, to increase the export of New Zealand primary products to Eastern markets. We desire to record our appreciation of the work he has accomplished in this direction, and hope that in the near future he may be rewarded by seeing his plans for assisting the primary producer brought to fruition. We would assure him of our support in any further action he may take to find new markets for New Zealand products.”
