COMMUNITY SING

Mr. Owen Pritchard, who for the past four years has been the principal songleader at the Wellington community sings, is to be farewelled at a special midday sing to take place in the Town Hail on Wednesday,' at 12.30 p.m. As this may possibly be the last opportunity Wellington citizens and listeuers-in will have of seeing and hearing Mr. Pritchard in action as a long-leadqr. the committee hopes that citizens will rise to the occasion and make the sing a memorable one. Listeners-in are particularly requested to forward a farewell message. The Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, will be present t.<> express the thanks of the community to Mr. Pritchard for his untiring efforts in the interests of charity. The total proceeds of the sing will be devoted to the Mayor’s Fund.
