One hundred people have been killed, including 13 in New York. Blizzards continue to rage from Maine to Minnesota, even Florida reporting snow. It is estimated that 1000 persons are clinging to roof-tops and trees in various parts of the country in a desperate effort to save themselves from the floods. Railwa.v services and communication lines continue to be demoralised, states a Vancouver message. The heavy snow and rain continued in the mountains, with additional snowslides since Sunday. The schools are still closed and the lowlands flooded.
