Wellington Sale Prices
Competition was keen at yesterday’s sale of sheepskins, hides, and tallow hold by the. combined Wellington brokers. Competition was animated, for sheepskins, which sold practically at par with last sale’s level—good lambskins being in keen demand at somewhat enhanced figu res. Hides sold readily, best cows maintaining last sale's prices with a slightly easier tone in poorer country Jots. Ox were rather easier, declining about a farthing in all weights except, the very light lots. Yearling and kip'also showed some decline to the extent of threeeighths of a penny, and calfskins declined about a halfpenny to three farthings. Tallow met a keen demand at rather better figures than last sale.
