DEATH OF MAORI CHILD

By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, January 25. An inquest was opened by the district coroner this morning on the death of a Maori child, aged 2 years and 10 months, under an anaesthetic at the Cook Hospital ou Wednesday. After medical evidence that the cause of death was toxaemia following milin.ry tuberculosis the inquest was adjourned.
