Bell Kilgour Report The secretary of Hie Bell-Kilgour Gold Mining Co., Ltd., advises receipt of report from the manager, dated January 19. reading as follows: —The north branch was advanced 27ft. Gin. for the week. The "floor” level was very uneven, and wash proved low grade. From the north crosscut of the east branch drove an incline up to the “wash lloor.” At 14ft. the wash proved low grade, and am now extending the north crosscut, which has been advanced 16ft. for the week. The •'wash floor,” which has dropped Ift. Gin., is now showing at eap level. Dish prospects show a little rough gold. Big River Big River Gold Mines. Limited, report for week ending January 17: —No. 4 north drive: Total distance driven on reef. 78ft. The stone has cut out. 'rhe reef channel is still well defined, and may make stone again in a short distance. The loading stope has reached the face, and the second one started—stone sft. wide. The rise is up 20ft. from floor of level with a full face of stone. No. 4 sduth drive: The intrusion of mullock reported in this face has now pinched the stone to 2ft. Gin. wide on the footwall side of drive. Total distance driven on reef. 32ft. i Main shaft: Work has been eommenebd repairing th" main shaft to No. 5 level.
