Wellington Market Quiet YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS' The Wellington stock and share, market was quiet yesterday, with a slightly easier tendency. Government loans were not in such strong demand, though prices were steady. Banks remained fairly steady, though Commercials of Australia were easier, with sellers dropping to 16/8, and buyers to 16/3. New Zealands were fractionally easier, with a sale at .50/10, and late sellers asking 50/11. with buyers offering 50/6. Reserve Banks changed bands at £6/13/-. Insurance shares were quieter, though values ruled firm. In.the mining section, Big Rivers dropped considerably, with buyers offering 1/7, Bd. down on Wednesday, and sellers at 2/14. Mount Morgans also eased, with buyers at 39/6 and sellers at 40/2. The latest buying and selling quotations recorded on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday were as follow: —
