Common Gaming-house By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 21. Stanley Percivall Barnett, aged 24 pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to a charge of keeping a common gaming-house at 19 Duncan Street, Spreydon. It was stated lie had been carrying on betting business on fl large scale and that he had been fined £25 in March, 1933, for a similar offence. Barnett was fined £5O.
