Final Dividend, 2| Per Cent. Dominion Special Service. Auckland. January 24. The annual accounts of tiie Auckland Gas Co., Ltd., for the year ended December 31, 1934, show a net profit of £68,002, a reduction of £3977 from the previous year, but £913 higher than the 1932 earnings. With £1074 brought forward. £69,0i6 is available. An interim dividend of 25 per cent., paid in August, 1934, absorbed £30,936/10/-, and £5OOO has been transferred to the income tax reserve account, leaving £33,139/10/-. The directors recommend the payment of a final dividend of 25 per cent., making 5) per cent., iuichanged for the year, on both fully-paid £1 shares and contributing 15/- paid shares. This will absorb £30,936/10/-, and the carry forward is £2203.
