Transfer From Soviet to Become Effective BRITAIN MAY BENEFIT (Received January 22, 7.40 p.m.) Tokio; January 22. The materialisation of the transfer of the Chinese Eastern Railway from the Soviet has ended, concluding 19 months of negotiations. The price was 170,000,000 yen and the transfer will be effective in February. It is expected that Britain will benefit greatly from the purchase of railway equipment when Manchukuo begins the reconstruction and unification of car lines.
