Figures For Last Year BLENHEIM FEW HOURS LESS Nelson waa the sunniest of all the places iu New Zealand where obaerva.tions were made during 1934, according to figures issued by the Meteorological Office. Blenheim had almost as much sunshine as Nelson and the large centres next in order are Napier. New Plymouth, Tauranga, Mastertoil and 'Wellington. Wellington had about four hundred hours loss than Nelson. Nelson led in the previous year also, with 2504 hours, followed by Lake Tekapo (2481), Napier (2451) and New Plymouth (2275). Masterton iu that year ha-l 2052. \\ ellington 2036 and Blenheim 2171. The number of hours of bright sunshine at each meteorological station in 1934 is as follows: —
