WEDDINGS

Mclvor—Kraft The wedding took place at Kent. Terrace Presbyterian Church, recently, of Ivy Maude, second daughter of Mrs. Kraft and the late Mr. J. F. Kraft, Wellington, and Donald George, only son of Rev. D. and Mrs. Mclvor. Marton. The officiating minister was the bridegroom’s father, who was assisted by the Rev. W. Gilmour. Mr. A. Mill presided at the organ. The bride, escorted by her eldest brother, wore a model gown of ivory satin with yoke effect, the skirt being cut on classical lines with a flowing train. The long tulle veil was caught to the head by a. coronet of orange blossom?,

and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses and carnations. The bridesmaids, Miss Cassie Kraft, sister of the bride, and Miss Lilian Mclvor, sister of the bridegroom, were dressed alike in graceful picture frocks of heavy pink lace over taffeta, the puff sleeves, shoulders and skirt being trimmed with fine pleated net frills. They -wore model bats of pink crinoline straw trimmed with angel skin ribbon, and carried bouquets tt> tone with, their frocks, the dainty effect being completed by beautiful crystal necklaces, the gifts of the bridegroom. Keith Kraft, nephew of the bride, who wore a white satin suit, and received a gold tie pin from the bridegroom, was page boy. As the bride left the church she was presented with a white satin horseshoe by Miss Mescal Brady, of Paremata. Mr. J. Johnson was best man, and Mr. J. Kraft groomsman.

At the reception, which was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Clyde Quay, the guests were tecelvect by Mrs. Kraft, who wore an ensemble of grey floral maro'cain with a black-,and-white hat and carried a posy of rdd rose>s. Mrs. D. Mclvor, who assisted the bride’s mother, wore a becoming wine ensemble with smart hat to tone, and carried a posy of pink roses and carnations. The bride travelled in a‘ brown tailored costume and beige hat.
