650 CHRISTMAS DINNERS

Smith Family Effort Appreciated Thanks to the efforts of the Smith Family, some 650 families in 'Wellington were provided with ample Christmas dinners. Not only was there a good- substantial meal given in each instance, butthanks to generous donors, the Family was able in many cases to supply toys to children. What »was very gratifying, too, was that in this case no special request was made for toys—they were the spontaneous offerings of people who were aware that such gifts would be welcome. . Since Christmas the 'Wellington office of the Smith Family has received several letters expressing heart-felt thanks for the dinners and toys.
