COMPETITIONS SOCIETY
Features For Annual Festival In our advertising columns the Wellington Competitions Society announces that it is not connected with a body which intends to hold similar competitions in May. The Competitions Society is still functioning actively, and will pursue jig' usual course of holding its annual festival in August next. A revised syllabus incorporating some new features is in course of preparation. The Competitions .Society is not run for private profit, and its accumulated funds are invested for the purpose of providing scholarships, which already have been the means of assisting several promising students to higher successes. The usual cash prizes, championship medals, and trophies also will be provided for the festival in August.
