DISPERSAL SALE
Glenburn Ryeland Flock Dominion Special Service Palmerston North, January 17. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., held a complete dispersal sale this afternoon of W. G. Shannon’s Glenburn Ryeland nock. One hundred and thirteen stud ewes, m ram and ewe lambs and 43 stud and noek rams were offered. The whole entry was previously passed for export,_ and came forward in excellent condition. _ lhe average price was about six guineas. Prices were as follow: — Two-tooth ewes, Ggns., 7gns., Sgns.; ewe lambs, 2Jgns., 3 gns., 3igus., 3tgns. 4 gns.; two two-tooth rams at 10 and 12gns. ; two-tooth flock rums, Ggns., 7gns., 7-Jgns., Bgns., Signs., 9gns., lOgns., and lOjgns. . A two-tooth ram offered on behalf of Dr. E. C. Barnett was sold for llgns.
