Float and Lorry Collide By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, January 16. An unusually thick fog which enveloped Hamilton this morning made for unpleasant conditions, and visibility was limited to a few yards in certain localities. On the Ohaupo road the poor visibility culminated in a collision between a milk float and a lorry. Dozens of broken milk bottles amlspilt milk marked the scene of confusion after the fog had cleared. The milkman. John Henry Lamphire (46). received injuries necessitating his admission to hospital with cuts, abrasions, and extensive bruises. The transport lorry escaped with slight damage. The flent was wrecked irreparably.
