TOWNS INUNDATED
New South Wales Floods Sydney, January 16. Many districts in the north-eastern section of the State have suffered flooding and damagft as the result of torrential rains. Railway lines and roads have beep washed out. and at least two bridges wrecked. Armidale, Denman and Walcha were inundated by several feet of water, and live stock swept away. The Premier, Mr. B. S. Stevens, has issued instructions to the police that relief be afforded necessitous cases iu the flood areas.
