In a match against Trinidad at Port of Spain the M.C.O. touring team made 348 (Wya_tt 22, Hammond 116, Hendren 36, Leyland 35, Ames, not out, 69, Smith 54). Constantine took four wickets for 72. Trinidad in their first innings lost two wickets for 60 (Roach 28, Maynard, not out, 24). Hammond and Hendren added 130 runs in 85 minutes. Hammond was out before lunch. He hit 13 fours and five sixes.
