Mrs. E. Rowlands, an old resident of Wellington, died recently at Rahotu in her eighty-third year. Some Wellington people will remember her as the wife of Mr. Samuel Prosser, one of the well-known Prosser family, who, in the 70’s, ran coaches from Wellington to Porirua, and were the lessees of the old Coach and Horses Hotel on Lambton Quay. Mr. Samuel Prosser died at Opunake in 1895.
