Golcondu Mines, Ltd., report for the week ended January 12:—We resumed work at the 70ft. level last Monday. In the hanging-wall rise we drilled into poor country and work was suspended in tne rise. We cleaned up the drive on the main reef south-west, and connected up the pipes and resumed driving on the reef. This drive was stopped temporarily a few months ago, after we had picked the reef up again, the other side of a break that had displaced it. ine reef is a strong body of ore lift. wide and dipping lin 1. By continuing tindrive we should get the same channel or country that made the gold in the branch reef south.
