Butter and Cheese Shipments FIVE MONTHS’ FIGURES Shipments of butter last month totalled 15,612 tons, a decrease of 2686 tons compared with those for December, 1930. Of last month’s shipments 84 per cent, was consigned and 16 per cent, so d i.0.b., as against 92 per cent, consigned and 8 percent. sold f.o.b. in December, 1903. Shipments of butter for the five weeks the 1934-35 season ended December 31 totalled 57,000 tons, compared with 59 787 for the corresponding period of the 1933-34 season, a decrease of 2ib< tons. Australia’s shipments of butter to the United Kingdom last month totalled loaju tons, compared with 1-1,461 tons for December, 1933. For the five months ended December b L sh tpmeiUs totalled 47,434 tons, compared with 40,042 tons for the corresponding period of IJod, an increase of 1892 tons. Shipments of cheese from Australia to the United Kingdom for the five months were 3391 tons, compared with 1908 tons a year ago. Shipments of butter from Argentina to the United Kingdom for the five months totalled 2155 tons, compared with tons a year ago. Shipments of cheese last month were 12 308 tons, compared with 14,087 tons t 0; December, 1933, a decrease of Ih9.
