Dr. J. B. Condlift'e, formerly professor of economics at Canterbury College, later research secretary for the Institute of Pacific Affairs at Honolulu. and now a member of the Economic Intelligence Service' of the League of Nations, is to deliver a public address in Wellington on Thursday evening next, January 17, under the auspices of the League of Nations Union of New Zealand. Dr. Condlift’e, who is a New Zealander, is author of the annual World Economic Survey prepared by the League of Nations. He will speak in the Masonic Hall, Wellington Terrace, and a cordial invitation is extended to all interested. The subject of the address is not. announced. but it will be some aspect of the League’s work.
