Annual Meeting- on 25th Anniversary

London, January 10.

The twenty-fifth annual meeting of the Empire Press Union coincided with the actual day of its foundation. Sir Harry Brittain pointed out that he and Mr. 11. A. GWynne were the only survivors of those who attended the foundation meeting. Major Astor was re-elected president. The South African programme was approved.

New Zealand Delegate Stops

at Perth.

Mr. F. A, Clarke, leader of the New Zealand delegation to the Press Congress in South Africa, was unable to continue beyond Fremantle, owing to the illness of his wife. They are remaining at Perth.
