WOMEN’S DIVISION
Midsummer Conference Christchurch i§ to be the rendezvous of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union on January 15, 16 and 17, when the annual mid-summer conference will be held. Last year the gathering was at Wanganui. The conference will be held in the Chamber of Commerce Hall, and the North Canterbury provincial executive is in charge of arrangements. The Bush Nurse and Housekeeper Auxiliary meeting will, be held prior to the general conference.
On the social side will be a gathering in the Canterbury Women’s Club, and a garden party at Mrs. J. Cracroft Wilson’s home in tlie Cashmere Hills.
