Sorry For Russia

Sir, —“Realist’s” letter in reference to mine about Divine guidance requires no reply, for his first statepient is not correct, nor is his gibe about my world knowledge. He mentions one-eixth of the habitable earth —but which sixth he does not say. If he means Russia I may say that her attempted cure is worse than New Zealand’s illness, and while many New Zealanders are sorry for poor Russia they do not want to be contaminated with her disease. His statement about unemployment may be partly true, for I know many find employment with third degree torture and shooting of their own citizens. Ido not intend to enter into a controversy about Russia.—l am, etc., FANK MTIITE. Eketahuna, January 9.
