Date of Opening PRIME MINISTER EXPLAINS POSITION ‘‘ls Parliament to resume on February 13?” In reply to this question yesterday the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, informed a representative of “The Dominion” that it was Impossible at the moment to give a conclusive answer. “Everything depends on the completion of the legislative proposals which are to be submitted to Parliament when it resumes the adjourned session. These deal with important national questions, such as mortgage finance. The proposed measures are under preparation for the House, and until they have been completed it is not practicable to say when Parliament will continue its session.

“I have not that the reopening of the session will be later than February 13,” concluded Mr. Forbes. “The date has not been fixed. That is tlie position.” _____
