Play for New Zealand
J£NOWN as a “suspense” play of the most entertaining and thrilling kind, Anthony Armstrong’s “Ten Minute Alibi” is shortly to be staged throughout New Zealand by a J. C. Williamson company. This is the ex citing murder play that has been acquired for no fewer than 24 nations, all of which have had translations made so that the subleties of the ingenious plot may not be missed. Everywhere it has been staged, heads have been shaken in mystification, yet actually there is no mystery. How can there be when the audience witnesses a murder? But the alibi Is what enthrals and intrigues, the likeable murderer having everybody on his side as he proceeds to manipulate the clock hands so that the police are unable to shake his alibi. George Th irwell heads the excellent cast for the presentation of this romantie and sensational drama.
