ATHLETIC MEETING
To-morrow Night’s Sports With good prospects of a fine evening there is every reason to anticipate that to-morrow night’s electric light athletic meeting will be highly successful. In addition to the triangular contest between the Kiwi, Wellington and Wanganui clubs, there will be three invitation match cycle races in which some of New Zealand’s best performers will be racing. F. J. Grose, of Canterbury, New’ Zealand representative at the British Empire Games last year. J. Wade and C. Hansen, of Wanganui. and T. McCord, of Wairarapa, will ride, in addition to leading Wellington cyclists. About twenty athletes will come to the meeting from Wanganui. and in addition to the triangular contest there will be a series of open handicap events for which Wellington athletes have entered.
