To-day’s Recipe
PLUMS AND RICE Take 2 cups milk and i cup rice, 1 tablespoon sugar, and cook it in a double saucepan till quite tender and all tbe milk Is absorbed. Take a mould, line it on the bottom and sides with the rice, and put aside to cool. Stew some plums in sugar, remove the stones, and dissolve in the syrup enough gelatine to set it stiffly. Pour this into tbe rice mould and set in ice chest. Serve with cream or rich custard.
