Mrs. E. A. Ransom has returned from Dannevirke.
Miss G. E. Bennett, 'Wellington, is at Auckland at present. Miss Marian Mcßae, Auckland, is visiting Greytown. Miss Elsie Gregor, Greytown, is on a visit to Napier. Mr. and Mrs. W. Brown, Masterton, are spending a holiday at Napier. Mrs. William Brown, Tinakori Road, is at present staying at Rotorua. Mrs. J. S. Rutter, Kelburn, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Miss Betty Bowling, Oriental Bay, is spending a holiday at Lyttelton. Mrs. Percy Cox, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Christchurch;
Mrs. Roe, Rotorua, is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George, Wadestown.

Mrs. J. Buchanan, Feiiding, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Davidson, 'Wanganui.
Mr. and Mrs. T. Wright have returned to Wanganui from a visit to Mrs. Wright, sen., Levin.
Mr. and Mrs. James Milne, Wellington, are visiting Sirs. Milne, Wanganui.
Miss Margaret Iggulden, Auckland, is staying with Mr. and Mrs. L. Pickering. Napier.
Miss J. Miller, who lias been staying with Mrs. and Mrs. W. S. Benton, Kahutara, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. K. D. McKenzie, who has just returned from England, has been visiting Masterton. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Kerr, Thames, Auckland, who have been visiting Masterton, have returned home. Mrs. Forrest Livesey, who has been visiting Mrs. C. Jones, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, has returned to Wellington.
Mesdames Vennail and A. J. Bridgewater, Oamaru, will be the guests of Mrs. D. Mason, Wanganui, this week. Mrs. Douglas Wilson has returnedto her home at Wanganui from a visit to Feiiding. Mrs. E. Ranish, who has been spending a holiday at Hastings, has returned to Wellington. Miss Moira Matthews, Rangiora, is spendbig a few weeks at Wellington visiting relatives. Mrs.' C. V. Houghton, has returned to Auckland after visiting her daughter Mrs. D. W. McClurg, Lower Hutt.
Mrs. C. G. Collins and Miss Eunice Fowler, Christchurch, arrived in 'Wellington on the first stage of a tour of the North Island.
Miss Beryl Edwards, who has been spending the holidays as the guest of Mrs. J. Shearer, Masterton, has returned to Wellington.
Mr, and Mrs. T. Carver, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. IV. Brown, Lincoln Road, Masterton, have returned to Napier.
Misses R. Honeyiielcl, M. 1-lamerton and A. Horner, left Patea this week for a motor tour in North Auckland and the Bay of Plenty.
Mrs. J. Bassett, Eketahuna, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Nola Bassett. is staying with her daughter, Mrs. Buckingham, Levin.
Mr. and Mrs. David Millar, with Miss Marjorie Millar and Mr. Ronald Millar are leaving Wellington to-day for Palmerston North and will later go to the Wairarapa.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Tripe, Selwyn Terrace, have returned from Waipawa, where they stayed with Mrs. Douglas Williams.
Mrs. B. Collins is a Wellington visitor to Timaru. Miss Margaret Kerr, Timaru, is visiting 'Wellington and Auckland.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur-Holloway and family, Tinakori Road, who spent the holidays at Paekakariki, have returned to Wellington.
Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Thomson, Auckland. who have been staying with friends at Masterton, have returned home, accompanied by Mrs. G. IT. Mosel’.
Mrs. Hal Williams, London, Is a passenger by the Remuera, which reaches Wellington on January 21. Mrs. Williams will stay with her mother, Mrs. J. H. Williams, Murltai, Havelock North, and with her other New Zealand relatives.
Mrs. E. Murray-Fuller (Wellington) is busy selecting pictures to take out later to New Zealand. She is being greatly assisted in collection and selection by Sir W. Llewellyn (president of the Royal Academy), Mr. Arnesby Brown, R.A., Mr. Campbell Taylor. R.A., and Dame Laura Knight, A.R.A. During a motor tour in Scotland in August she had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Stanley Cursiter (director of the National Gallery of Scotland) and she also went to the Royal Scottish Academy exhibition. Mrs. Murray-Fuller is finding much to interest her in the important autumn art exhibitions in London.
