Prompt Action Saves Lives

A boy. Ernest .Morgan, aged 11. who got into difficulties while bathing at .Lyall Bay yesterday, was noticed by a young man, Larrv Collier, who went in and brought the lad to shore. Morgan. who was on a point of collapsewas given restorative treatment, and was able to go to his home at I’uru Crescent. A youth whose canoe was in difficulties on Saturday at, Houghton Bay was seen by a motorist. He inlorined the Island. Bay Surf and Life-Saving Club, members of whom took a reel to Houghton Bay and rescued the youth, the caaioe having capsized in the meantime
