WILHF.LMSEN MOTOR-SHIPS. Messrs. Wilh. WUhelmsen have ordered two new motor-ships, one to be built by Knockums mek. Verkstad. Malmo, and the other bv Gotaverken, Gothenburg. The former .will have a length over all of 498 ft. (Un and 470 ft. b.p.. a breadth of 62ft. and a depth of 42ft. Ilin, to shelter deck. The vessel will have five hatches, served" by a large number of winches and derricks. The propelling machinery will consist of an 8-cvllnder two-cycle double-acting Knockum-M.A.N. Diesel engine developing 8000 h.p. at 105 r.p.ni. and the speed Is expected to be 161 knots in a smooth sea. There will be six passenger cabins, each with a separate bathroom.
