Perfect summer weather jesterdny again favoured the North Island croquet championships now in. progress on the Wanganui and Gonvillc croquet lawns in Wanganui. The rain had improved the lawns considerably, and some good games were witnessed, Mrs. Watkins, of Hastings, being particularly brilliant.
