Increased Rate Payments

A distinct sign of better times can be found in the Auckland city rate payments, which are increasing daily as the 10 per cent, penalty draws nearer. Payments so far equal 37.1 per cent, of the total sum collectable, compared with 31.9 per cent, at this time last year, and £24,627 more in the current year’s rates lias been paid.
